Landing Pages for Financial Advisors
Why financial advisors need a landing page
People searching for a financial advisor are making one of the biggest trust decisions of their lives. They’re handing over visibility into their savings, retirement accounts, and financial goals. The bar for trust is incredibly high — and most advisor websites don’t clear it.
Generic firm websites with stock photos of handshakes and calculators don’t inspire confidence. A focused landing page that leads with fiduciary status, credentials, and a clear client profile converts far better than a corporate brochure site.
What we built (and why)
Our demo at /demo/financialadvisor is built for Oakwood Financial Planning, an independent fee-only advisor. The hero immediately leads with “Fee-Only Fiduciary” — the single most important trust signal in this industry. It means the advisor is legally required to act in the client’s best interest.
Below: services (retirement planning, investment management, tax strategy, estate planning), a “Who We Serve” section defining ideal client profiles, an explanation of why fee-only matters, the advisor’s credentials and bio, client testimonials, and a consultation form. The footer includes required regulatory disclosures.
Key design decisions
“Fee-Only Fiduciary” above everything. In an industry plagued by commission conflicts, fee-only status is the ultimate differentiator. We make it the first thing visitors see.
Client profile clarity. Not everyone is the right fit. Describing ideal clients (pre-retirees, business owners, young professionals) helps the right people self-select and builds confidence that the advisor understands their situation.
No stock photos. Per industry best practice, no piggy banks, no calculators, no handshake photos. Clean, professional design with real credentials.
Regulatory compliance. ADV disclosure link, registered investment advisor statement, and appropriate disclaimers in the footer. This is non-negotiable.
Results you can expect
Financial advisor keywords have moderate volume but very high client lifetime value. A well-positioned page can start ranking for local advisory terms within 3–6 months. Given that a single client relationship can span decades and generate substantial recurring revenue, even one new client from organic search justifies the investment many times over.
