Landing Pages for Veterinary Practices
Why veterinary practices need a landing page
Pet owners are fiercely protective. When they search “vet near me” or “animal hospital [city],” they’re looking for someone they can trust with a family member. That trust starts online — and with CPCs over $23, capturing that traffic organically is a big deal.
Most veterinary websites are outdated, slow, and cluttered with too much information. Pet owners want to see friendly faces, know your hours, check if you handle emergencies, and book an appointment — all within seconds. A focused landing page delivers exactly that.
What we built (and why)
Our demo at /demo/veterinary is built for Pawprint Animal Hospital. The page opens with “Compassionate Care for Your Best Friend” — speaking directly to the emotional bond between pet and owner. Emergency contact information is visible immediately.
Below: a services grid (wellness, vaccines, surgery, dental, emergency, grooming), friendly vet team profiles, new client welcome section, pet care tips with email capture, testimonials from pet owners (naming their pets), and a booking form that asks for the pet’s name alongside the owner’s.
Key design decisions
Emergency info always visible. After-hours emergencies are common. The emergency phone number appears in the hero and footer — pet owners need to find it instantly.
Team photos with warmth. Veterinarians photographed with animals, not in clinical settings. Pet owners want to see that the team genuinely cares.
Pet-first forms. The booking form asks for the pet’s name. It’s a small touch that signals “we care about your animal, not just the transaction.”
New client special. A free wellness exam for new patients removes the barrier to switching vets. Many pet owners stay with practices they’re not thrilled with simply because switching feels like effort.
Results you can expect
Veterinary keywords are moderately competitive but carry strong lifetime value — a pet owner who trusts your practice will return for years of wellness visits, vaccinations, and procedures. A well-optimized page can start appearing in local results within a few months, and each new client family represents ongoing recurring revenue.
